so this thanksgiving was different than most, not only in locale but in the way it was spent.  our house spent the evening with HomePlate, sean’s agency, and some of the homeless youth the agency serves.  we were in charge of making pies for the potluck and so i decided it was only right that i make the apple pie i have made with my mom for the past 18 years of my life.  the pie came out VERY well if i do say so myself and christie was lovely enough to document it all for you.  in the hustle bustle to bike there (don’t worry, ted took the pies in his car for safe-keeping) i forgot to take a finish photo.  but before i knew it, the pie was all gone! guess mom’s recipe is loved and a winner all over!  hope you all had a lovely thanksgiving!
